Always Hold the Door Open
Do you ever stress over something, even though you know it’s not worth your worry?
I do. I do it multiple times a day:
Every time I’m entering or exiting a building.
Do you ever stress over something, even though you know it’s not worth your worry?
I do. I do it multiple times a day:
Every time I’m entering or exiting a building.
What do you do when you’re feeling down? How do you cope?
I prefer to do nothing. I prefer to plant myself on the couch, watch TV and cut off all communication with the outside world.
In my search for self-improvement, I keep coming across the same piece of advice:
Take cold showers.
Yet I can’t stop from turning that shower dial to hot.
For some people, success comes in bursts. For others, it comes more incrementally.
I fall in the latter category — which has me wondering why I can’t find the elevator.
“This is where you’re supposed to be.”
That was the line I kept repeating to myself yesterday as I sat, stuck in traffic, waiting for a train to pass.
