IVF 5: It’s Egg Retrieval Time

After 10 days and a total of 43 shots of five different medications — the last of which I administered late Sunday night (see photos below) — Emily finally is ready for her fifth IVF egg retrieval.

Here, we discuss how meaningful the support of others has been, how we’ve worked to be our own best advocates and what our mantra is going into the procedure.
